We are using HST3-R M24 dia bolt in our system but while
designing in HILTI software for seismic category available bolt dia shows upto
M20 dia.
So we couldn’t check the design properly .Is there any
solution to solve this ?.
For your reference software snapshot and Technical data
sheet snap shot are attached
Hello,
Thank you for your question.
The diameter 24 of the HST3 stud is not approved for use in seismic conditions.
The seismic performances of our chemical anchors associated with threaded rods are detailed in the corresponding
approvals (attachment 1-2).
Example of alternative: HIT RE 500 V4 resin HAS-U threaded rod.
Please, find approval attached.
The largest rod diameter usable in seismic performance category C2 is an M30, whose new technical characteristics are given in the approvals.
We wish you good day and remain at your disposal for any further information.
Sincerely,
Cheryl SANGLI
