Minimum edge distance of HDA-P
Dear HILTI specialists and dear all,
I am now using HDA-P M12x125/30 and the technical data sheet requires minimum edge distance >= 100mm. For edge distance smaller than critical edge distance, the design loads have to be reduced.
May you please advice how much the installation torque can be reduced to, if the minimum edge distance is < 100mm.

Dear customer,
For a tensile force, the caracteristic edge distance ccr,N is 190 mm, and the minimum edge distance 100 mm, for a HDA-P M12 undercut anchor.
There's no possibility to justify an edge distance under 100 mm with that M12 Ø (80 mm for a M10).
I all cases, there's no reduction or increase of the installation torque Tinst.
